RVA Surveyors hosts charity fundraiser on Big Yellow Friday

In 2022, RVA Surveyors started their charity initiative for Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF). CLDF is the only UK charity solely dedicated to supporting children and young people with liver diseases.
Liver diseases require a lifetime of medical care. Every week, twenty children in the UK are diagnosed with a life-threatening liver disease. Big Yellow Friday (31st March 2023) is the annual fundraising event hosted by CLDF for people to get involved and help raise money to fight childhood liver diseases and provide support to children, young people, and their families.
In 2023, RVA Surveyors began their year of fundraising by making a splash, and operating eight different events and activities on the 31st of March for Big Yellow Friday. From wearing yellow, to a tombola, limbo, and even a Putting competition, people from across the business chipped in to do their part – and had fun doing so.
“It was great to see people taking part in our charity fundraiser.” Anthony Hughes, Managing Director of RVA Surveyors, said. “The end of March was also the end of the 2017 rating list, so for us it was a particularly busy day getting the last details sorted before the changeover. I’m glad that we were able to provide everyone a minute to step out, take a break, have a bit of fun, and even better – to do it for charity.”
While RVA held many charity events over 2022 – most notably their Skydive –, this year they are determined to keep the fundraising wheel going. With over £3,600 raised so far, the team over at RVA Surveyors are already planning their next big event. With plenty already on the calendar over the next few months – Footgolf Tournament, Abseil, and Football Shirt Friday to name a few – RVA are looking forward to continuing their fundraising journey for this charity.
