Role: Credit Controller (Full-Time, Permanent)
Based: On-site (office based)
Hours: 8:45 – 530pm Monday – Thursday & 8:45 – 3:55pm Friday
Package: £23,000 basic salary with O.T.E £35,000 with uncapped commissions.
Role Overview:
RVA Surveyors are award winning independent Business Rates Reductions Specialists working with commercial property owners and tenants throughout England & Wales to reduce their historic and future business rates liabilities.
We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller who is confident in collecting payments, customer service and problem solving. Ideally, you will be used to working in a business-to-business capacity, or similar, and thrive working in a fast paced and high-volume collections team securing payment for our success fees from our varied client base.
This role will report directly to the Team Leader and Credit Control Management.
Duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to;
- Manage creditor debts and ensure timely payment.
- Resolve account queries.
- Deliver relevant, clear, transparent, and consistent information to clients.
- File notes regarding all correspondence with clients, including outcomes and next steps.
- Maintain exceptional professional & personal standards to support your ongoing development and progression within the business.
Requirements to succeed within the position;
- A minimum of one year’s successful experience in Credit Control, ideally business to business.
- Highly motivated, target driven with a passion for sales and customer services.
- Proficient in task & time management with proven work planning, prioritisation and organisation skills.
- Ability to support and contribute to initiatives for improvement in processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, client liaison & telephony skills.
- An ability to analyse problems and exercise good judgement in finding effective solutions.
- Be accurate and thorough, with attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of quality.
- Adaptable to differing environments with excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate and manage key relationships.
- Professional attitude demonstrating enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’ mentality.
- Aligned with, understands, and supports the ambitions of the company.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.
- Experience using Sage or other similar software.
